Groceries

The cooking class that feeds the whole family.

Here's the Deal

Gray's Place is a Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  We are dedicated to raising food waste awareness, and empowering the youth with culinary education.

We have lost touch with our food and the culture it is meant to create.  Throughout my years of working in and around the restaurant industry I have discovered one indisputable fact, people love to eat!  Sadly, our love for restaurants and fast food has made it easy to forget the gratitude, and accomplishment that comes with cooking and eating together.

My goal is to build confidence and excitement around food, while giving individuals the skills and tools to succeed as they grow in this delicate world. Play with your food, make mistakes, no one can tell you what you don’t like!

Our Intent

Culinary education for anyone ages 8ish and older. We focus on kitchen etiquette, skills behind the blade, seasonal produce, and an overall respect for food and how it gets to our bellies. Rather than individual meals, we cook for the family.

Dinner is ready when you pick up the kids.

When we are not out empowering the young ones with chef knives, our kitchen focuses on repurposing salvaged food into take and bake meals for anyone to enjoy.  By partnering with local farms, groceries stores and wholesale food suppliers we aim to reduce food waste by taking the work out of meal prepping.  Our affordable meals make stopping for dinner on the way home easy and healthy.
